Something Wicked This Way Comes
I do not condemn one who is against abortion. But I am pro-choice and unashamed. It this removes me from a moral high ground, well, I don’t spend my life there to begin with. I’m flawed, and secure in my convictions.
Having known women who made the choice, however, I see none who were unmoved or felt guiltless. Their decisions were heartrending and nightmarish in every case. Yet the cadre of zealots who take arms against abortion practitioners aren’t just unconflicted; they’re motivated.
The link is from InsideCatholic.com. It provides a series of reaction quotes to the Tiller murder. Plus some comments. Among them, from “Mother of Two Sons”:
I sure hope when all the dust settles someone will have the nerve to investigate how many babies have been aborted at his hands…. I am not advocating, but I can tell you this, if someone was killing babies in my neighborhood and I found out who it was, I would have to stop the killing when the courts would not!

I understand this person’s frustration… especially to see the Doctor singing in the choir….. I don’t own a gun because there are toooooooooooo many things about our society right now that I can’t stomach….. fortunately, by the grace of God, I resort to my knees…. God help us all!
Sometimes I wish there were a road map to whose Rule of Law we are to follow at any given moment.
