Suspicion is that she “borrowed” someone’s sperm to impregnate herself in prison to avoid a death penalty, which Laos is decent enough to do, if you’re pregnant and have narcotics sticking in you at the airport.

UPI reporting she isn’t expected to be in the Laotian prison “very long,” due to the transfer agreement, but that Laos could still pull the plug.
